Tiki Terror in the Valley

The angry looking fellow in the picture above is the Creature from the Black Lagoon, seen in a display within Kahuna Tiki Tu in Valley Village. Having reviewed the amusingly creepy decor at this restaurant-bar a couple years ago, we have just updated the post with new photos and text after a recent return visit. Despite the establishment’s name, its walls are adorned with more than mere tiki idols; there are skeletons, a deep sea diver, a Haunted Mansion display behind the reception dais, and Pirates of the Caribbean decorations in the corridor to the bathroom, including a skeletonized prisoner.
