Trailer: A Haunting in Venice

20th Century Fox releases third film starring Kenneth Branagh as Agatha Christie’s famous Belgian sleuth, Hercule Poirot. A Haunting in Venice is based on Hallowe’en Party, a later Christie novel generally held in low regard (at least compared to the author’s other work); however, it sounds as if Michael Green’s screenplay has taken liberties, switching the opening from the titular party to a seance in order to introduce potential supernatural elements.

Branagh directed a cast that includes Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, and Jamie Dornan.
