Idris Elba stars in this thriller about a father and his two daughters who find themselves stalked by a lion that apparently kills for sport. The trailer suggests something along the line of 1996’s The Gost and the Darkness, which depicted lions as preternaturally malevolent and cunning. Baltasar Kormákur directed from a script by Ryan Engle, story Jaime Primak Sullivan. The cast includes Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, and Leah Jeffries. Universal Pictures releases the film on August 19.
