This low-budget science fiction film, which played a handful of film festivals since being completed in 2020, gets a limited theatrical release, including a single Los Angeles engagement at the Laemmle Glendale, before heading to home video. The official plot synopsis reads: “As the world faces a deadly plague, humanity’s hope for a cure lies with a scientist who awakens imprisoned in a metal chamber. She desperately works to escape her confined cell to save the last of humanity.” Seth A. Smith directs from a script cowritten with Darcy Spidle. The cast includes Anna Hopkins, Simon Mutabazi, and Michael Ironside.
