Trailer: When Evil Lurks
IFC Films releases this low-budget effort in limited engagements around town. From October 6 through 12, it will play at Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles, Regal Paseo in Pasadena, Laemmle Newhall in Santa Clarita, and other art houses, plus some mainstream theatres. Starting Friday the 13, it will continue in an exclusive run at the Frida Cinema in Santa Ana.
The official plot description reads: “The residents of a small rural town discover that a demon is about to be born among them. They desperately try to escape before the evil is born, but it may be too late.” Demián Rugna directed a cast including Ezequiel Rodríguez, Demián Salomón, and Silvina Sabater.
