Video: Universal Monsters with music by Slash at HHN 2018

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is resurrecting the studio’s classic movie monsters for a new maze featuring music by Slash. “Universal Monsters” promises to bring Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, and others back with a vengeance.

Inspired by Universal’s legendary horror films, the Universal Monsters maze—featuring an original score produced and composed by GRAMMY® Award-winning musician, SLASH—will shake horror fans to the core with a petrifying modern rendition.

After decades of rot and decay as they lay mouldering in their graves, the Universal Monsters’ disdain for the living has risen to a bloodthirsty, all consuming level! Invade their eternal resting place and witness the bone-chilling resurrection of Frankenstein’s Monster, Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera and The Wolf Man, among others. As they rise from the dead, thirsty for revenge, you will fall victim to the terrifying images and stories that helped invent the horror film genre.

The characters from Universal Studios’ horror movie classics have been in hibernation since 2014, when the theme park closed its House of Horrors attraction. For its last few years of operation, House of Horrors was rebranded “Universal Monsters Remix” for Halloween, pumping up the volume with vibrant dance music to give the old monsters a more modern feel. With music by Slash, the new “Universal Monsters” sounds as if it will follow a similar strategy. (Slash previously provided music for a 3D clown maze at Halloween Horror Nights 2014.)
